Having confidently selected a quality signed
lithograph or original etching from the Cortez Saratoga
Collection,® it is most important that you now consider
framing. If you wish, we will mat and frame your artwork for
you.
As exclusive publishers for Jenness Cortez
for nineteen years, we have carefully studied each individual
lithograph and etching for its overall color scheme and have
selected double mat and moulding combinations accordingly.
The result is an attractive custom frame that not only enhances
the beauty of your print, but also complements the decor of
your home or office.
The following is a brief description of the
framing treatments we offer the Cortez collector.

PAINTING FRAMES
|
| Each original painting is accompanied
by a traditional, hand carved gold wood frame. Edgar Degas
often said that "the frame is the artist's reward."
Each of our frames has been individually chosen by Jenness
Cortez to enhance the beauty of her work. |

DELUXE FRAMING
Framing for Lithographs & Etchings
This is our most luxurious frame. We have
especially chosen a richly stained, hand-rubbed domestic
wood moulding together with an elegant pairing of 100%
acid-free mat boards.
Shown here is the original Cortez etching
honoring 1994 Horse of the Year Holy Bull in
our handsome, hand-rubbed Deluxe Framing.

METAL FRAMING
|
|
This is a versatile contemporary look.
We now offer you a choice of either gold or silver color
metal frames. Each frame is double matted with an appropriate
pairing of acid-free mat boards.
Shown here is our Gold Metal Frame,
but you also have the choice of Silver Metal

CONSERVATION & CRAFTSMANSHIP
To assure long-term preservation, we
use only 100% acid-free matting materials, backing boards
and hinges. Each mat is individually measured and hand-cut
providing accurate and crisp corners. Each print is
cleaned and sealed from moisture and dust under clear,
hand-cut glass. To assure longevity, all Cortez prints
and etchings are printed with museum quality light-fast
inks on 100% acid-free art paper.
REST ASSURED
Our reputation for quality craftsmanship
is well known throughout the industry as well as by
our many satisfied customers. You can rest assured that
your fine art investment will be professionally preserved
for generations. You won't have to search for a qualified
picture framer. The finished product will be safely
delivered to your home or office completely ready to
hang. All you'll need is a hammer!

What is a REMARQUE?
|
 |
If specifically requested by the
collector, Jenness Cortez will personally remarque your
new etching or signed lithograph. A remarque is a small,
original pencil drawing or sketch usually appearing in
the lower margin of the print. The remarque adds a special
value to your print because it is a one-of-a-kind original.
The price of an original remarque is $300. |
