Le Famille(The Family) "The red fox has always been one of my favorite subjects. You can tell each pair of peering eyes belongs to a very unique being, each with its own separate personality. The idea for this picture came about in 1973, when I was commisioned by the New York State Museum to create five paintings depicting the endangered species of the Adirondacks. Working with these wild animals led me to a new appreciation of their clever and more common cousins, the red fox." -- Jenness Cortez Image Size: 14 by 11 inches - Framed: 24 by 19 inches
